Screen for cages...

I was wondering what kind of screen to get for the cage I will be building soon. I was looking at 1/4" hardware cloth. It seemed like a good choice, but crickets could easily slip through. That led me to look at aluminum screen, but then there is the chance of toes getting caught. Orion is DEFINATELY a screen climber, so toes catching is a worry for me. Is there anything out there that works to keep crickets in, and toenails intact also? Thanks for the help!
