You know you can also go to Orchard Supply Hardware and pick up some insect screening its real cheap, and durable. Its not aluminum they carry it in the section where they cut the screen for screen windows in houses. You can get a roll that measures 36"x 94" for like $6.00. Or 48"x 94" for like $9.00. Try it out.

:If he's a screen climber all uncoated screens could be a problem for his feet. Hardware cloth can have some pretty rough surfaces from the galvinizing process. It may be harder to find but try to locate 1/8" plastic coated hardware cloth. This is a metal cloth so it's durable but the coating, similar to the coating on plier handles, is much gentler on their feet.
