Hey,
I just went downstairs to mist and feed my chameleons, and I found my little 5 week old guy, Jango, hanging upside down by one leg, dead.
He had good temps, foliage, plenty of food, good supplements; basically a fool-proof setup where nothing could go wrong.
The odd thing is this: he had what looked like a bruise from one eye right across his nose to the other eye. I checked on him this morning when I turned his lights on and he was fine sleeping under a leaf, and I didn't mist him this morning so I don't think he could have suffocated.
Has anyone seen this before? I'd like to find out the cause of death so I know what went wrong and how to prevent it in the future.
