I have a blood python with R.I, well, had. It's ALL better now because I tried this product called Tylan. Tyaln is used for Cattle/Swine respitory problems and can be found lots of places online and at most Cattle-Feed stores. It usualy runs from $5 - $12 for a bottle that will last your snake collection for years to come.
I hadn't heard about it until I something pointed me towards this-> http://forum.kingsnake.com/boa/messages/111810.html, written by The Boaphile (who breeds boas) and has used it himself and highly reccomends it, so I decided hey, why not try it.
IT WORKED WONDERS :D I gave her .12cc's per lb of snake, every other day for three days and she is having absolutly no problems with R.I anymore.
I'm not saying this would be the correct measurement to give your brums, by no means. Best to email The Boaphile himself and ask any questions you have or anyone else who knows about hte workings of Tylan.
Hope this helps :)
