Two dragons together

I have a 7 inch bearded dragon female. Is it safe to put a 4 inch baby in the same tank with her, or will the larger one eat the smaller one? I placed them together and when i am holding them they are uninterested in eachother. As soon as I placed them together in the same tank, the big one started poking the little one with its head and she started licking everything in sight. I had never seen her do this before. I assume she is just marking territory. Will they get along?
