When should I separate them???

Thanks for letting me know that I shouldn't breed my babies together. But you guys also said that I should separate them. They are only 3 months old now, so when should I separate them to prevent my girl from getting pregnant?? I only have the 1 thermostat and UV light set-up at the moment and I really can't afford another set-up like that. I've already had to buy them a new light because the old was making my boy sick. What should I do??
