I think it comes down to trust.
As long as you work out the details such as pick order ahead of time so that both understand going in then I think the rest is just trust. If your snake dies on breeding loan then you have to trust that they took good care of it and something was wrong with it and it probably would have died at home too. That’s the worst-case example but the same for not producing anything or not producing any morphs etc.
