It's indeed not an true ecosystem but you may know when you setup an tank with live plants, and you spray your leaves clean of the Anolis there poep, it is used as an fertilizer for your plants. Many years of experience (within almost every Anolis Contact Group participant) have shown this works great. Clean tanks, and no stres for your Anolis. Keeping you tank sanitary, is only possibel in an quarataine tank. Easy to clean, open, good ventilated, good climate controle, but the most stres you will give your Anolis his 'live'. And stres is death cause No. one.
Keeping good natural tanks are sanitary.
