I'd have to see them to know for sure that the noise is just a male calling because it is breeding season. they do call for other reasons but the one calling is probably a male calling for girls. if only one frog is calling doesn't necessarily mean that other frog not a male either. hard to sex them when they are small but males will have darker/baggier throats and females are bigger.
