I worte awhile back about a sick specks tortoise, he had a shell problem when I bought him. Of course I took him to the vet and the top layer of his plastron was taken off. He seemed to be doing just fine, but was still having problems eating, so i would gently open his mouth and he seemed to enjoy me force feeding him, like it was easier than him eating himself.lol. Anyway I found this new product in the pet store from fluker farms you mix the stuff with water and use a syringe to feed the sick tortoise. The next day he died.
Honestly I believe this stuff killed him. I also gave some to a new tortoise i got whom wasnt yet eating. THey get so stressed! And now he doesnt seem to be doing well at all. Has anyone used this stuff? What should I do. Should I cantact fluker farms? The tortoise caost me over 100.00 dollars and I am a poor college student. The one hundred dollars doeesnt include any vet fees...
