Again, the Question Why didn't the vet give treatment directly instead of your having to use Fluker yourself? I would take issue with the vet. With blood involved in the plastron area, could your tortoise have suffered from a severe fall? You may have had multiple problems with this poor animal. You probably don't have the corpse available but I would have had it autopsied to find the cause or at least examined in some capacity.
Contact Fluker -Explain the situation. Maybe they will work with you in some fashion. Also, again check your whole situation with your tortoise and if your a novice, check facts on your species. Could you have done something different?

:Trust me, the plan was never to go to court. I do ont remember what illness the vet told me he had, but he was like bleeding underneath the toplayer of his plastron. I guess I just cant undersatnd why he suddendly died. I have seen very sick tortoises, and he was doing so much better. Even though he was sick, it was really unexpected.
