Sulcata with a runny nose

I recently purchased a male sulcata from a local pet store. He is approx 5 years old. Ever since we have had him has has had a runny nose. The days leading up to the purchase I remember that the area that the pet store is in lost power for a few days and I am thinking they did not provide adequate warmth for the sulcata.

My local exotic vetenarian is pretty useless (1st time he's even seen a Sulcata) and I need to make this little guy well. I have been keeping him indoors and under a 150 watt lamp for most of the time at a constant 88 degrees during the day and around 72 degrees at night. We have another younger Sulcata that is doing just fine. I guess that he has had the runny nose for about 2 weeks now. Is there anything that I can do to help him? I feel trapped as my vet seems to know less that I do about Sulcata's!
