I have two sulcatas and they just bark (it sounds like "gruff, or brff"), or when mating, grunt and groan and gasp. But Chanel has a contentment-related thing that he does too, although it is not a vocal expression. (He "fans" when he is happy - hand-fed hibiscus, or warm soaked, etc). I love how expressive these guys are!
