I have had my two sulcats for two years now. I've always feed them store bought veggies. I just found out by reading the info on this forum that this is not what they should be eating. I just built an outdoor inclosure and am about to plant some tortoise grazing mix that I ordered for them. All I have right now in the pin is St. Augustine grass. My question is will a tortoise get spoiled on the store bought produce and not eat the stuff I grow? I put them out in there pin yesterday and they would not touch the St. Augustine grass. So I gave them some left over produce I had for them and they ate it all up. Should I starve them and make the eat the stuff that's growing in their cage or what. I need some advice. Sorry this is so long but any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Derek
