african spur or african spurred thigh. the real spurred thighs is of mediterranean origin (at least to my knowledge) and don't get near as big as sulcatta. i'm sure this has been argued before but even some of the reptile magazines calls sulcatta spurred thigh. The only possibilty on the two names being used is the common name being used of two species (and not scientific latin) and or the med. is referred to the mediterranean spurred thigh and the african is referred as african spurred thigh. ?
