today I introduced my male box turtle (which i think is a Gulf Coast) two my other two females after a vet checkup. However, I don't know when, but one of the females had a limb bitten off!!! I am just a kid, but with the help of my huge book by A.C. Highfield I was able to patch it up and clean it. With a check up to the vet and now after it just finished eating a bunch of blackberries to rplenish it's lost blood, it should be just fine. Especially since it is already very strong and active. My only question is did the male do this or did another animal get her? the bite/wound is not a clean cut like a turtle beak would make but rough. The bone was also cut off cleanly and I cannot find the other piece of the leg anwhere or blood on the males face. Thanks for any info.
