You may also want to go through your enclosire very carefully and look for anything thet may have caused such an injury...sharp objects? loose rocks falling? Are your female boxies also gulf coast?

Thanks for the info. I couldn't find anything to lead to what did it so i suspect a small mammal (cat, oppossum). It's been eating and drinking a lot and although I didn't go to the vet again with the help of some of my Adult turtle friends in my area I found after I joind several clubs I think everything is undercontrol. From now on I'm going to separate the turtles and redesign the pen since it is too large to cover 200 square feet and in a triangle! Once again I appreciate your help, but now I'm getting kind of mad after I look at my wallet. At least she's happy though!!
