Hi! I've posted this on the tortoise e- list and haven't gotten any response yet, what do you guys think?
My red-foot, Rosco, was treated for pneumonia with a full course of injectable baytril. He got better, than started w/ clear nasal discharge. I started him on Ciloxan intranasaly for about a week, and that cleared too. Now he seems to "yawn" a lot, and often rests with his head out angeled upwards against his enclosure. There is no discharge, no open mouth breathing, and everything else seems normal (eyes, appitite, activity, bowel movements, ect.)Is this increased "yawning" anything to be concerned about? How long does it take for an upper respitory to completly go away?
thanks
kelly
p.s.- to everyone who wrote about the pictures of Mortoise, they are forthcoming. Having problems with my scanner. :)
