HELP I NEED TO KNOW.......

Hi,
I have 2 baby sulcatas. They are both 2 inches long. One of them has a round shell and the other oval. Is this normal??? I have been told to keep them on rabbit pellets till their older. Is this true or can I use a 1:1 ratio of steralized sand and dirt??? This INFO I need ASAP. I gave them some washed dandalion greens and romain lettuce. The problem is they havent touched it yet. The other problem is that one of them is roaming around their temorary enclosure and the other is hiding in its shell. It didn't even move since last night. I am worried. Please give me some answers. I need to put them in their big cage today and need to know what substrate to put in. I would really appreciate the help. Thanks
