I just re read Marissa's care sheet.
She recommends a gradient of around 85 in the warmer side, to 75 in the cooler side. So make sure that you do have a heat gradient close to this.
It's important that your tort has a choice and can move between the cooler and warmer side at will.
Sulcatas do max out and become inactive if the temperature is too high.
I would buy two thermometers and place one at each side of the enclosure to monitor temps.
Smaller enclosures can overheat quickly.
I'm lucky enough to be able to house all my torts out year round so I'm not as informed on indoor temps as I should be!
