Since there seems to be at least several people here who have significant field experience with Rosys and an implied confidence with locale types why questions about the identification of snakes by folks like IanMuir and dementedgoose have gone without corroborated response?

Even though I WAS born and raised in the southwest as well as having spent time in the field in Baja and mainland Mexico, and found many, many herps, I personally am hesitent to claim the expertise to I.D. animals to their mountain range, canyon or rocky outcrop.
