Prices of Crested Geckos?

I am really interested in obtaining a few orange or red crested geckos. Sex doesn't matter to me as I am able to house them separately should they be males. How much should I be asked to spend on unsexed hatchlings? I have been quoted $100.00 each for buckskin colored hatchlings which seems a little high to me. I thought the browns/tans/buckskins went for $50.00-%75.00 depending on size. Plus what I am really looking for is red or orange ones. Will crested geckos "change" color as they mature or do they stay the same color they are born with? If they are born brownish but come from red parents do they have the potential to redden as they mature?
Any guidance you can provide I would really appreciate. I don't want to get ripped off.
