How old was he? If he hadn't eaten for two months it may have been this that caused his death - particularly in a young animal. Though if he had been eating well before that it seems strange...

Are your other blues fine? Sometimes temps or surropundings can put them off their food but if the others seem okay this would be unlikely. I've lost animals to haemorragghes - and they've often been of their food first...

Are you looking for another male? If so I may be able to help, as I know of someone breeding them in Southern England.
