LUCISTIC TEXAS RAT SNAKE

I'm thinking about getting one of these fantastic looking snakes but I was worried about temperment. Someone told me that Texas Rats are the meanest rats around. Would it ever tame? Also if anyone has any good care sheets on Texas Rats it would help a lot.
