I was merely looking for more insight as to this "condition".

Just for the record, I'm not saying that this has never occurred or that it didn't occur in your case. I believe that the majority of the "missing gallbladder" stories originated mostly out of an attempt to explain high mortality rates and that there is little evidence of this in real life.
