egyptian or diadem ratsnakes

i am purchasing a pair of egyptian ratsnakes without knowing much about them ,except i do now know they are not really ratsnakes.anyone have any or know more? i would like to breed next year ,but as they are a middle eastern species ,do they need to be cooled down? thanks
