Adults vary quite a bit, mine aren't actually finished yet. I've seen some adults that were so beautiful they caused me to be speechless. Of course those weren't for sale! Just on display at a reptile shop. One of them was a brilliant red with black speckling all over, the others were a reddish/orange. All 3 of mine have different colors and degrees of speckling, but they're only about 2+ years old so I don't know what their adults colorations will be. The waiting is kind of exciting.

When I said they were nervous, I meant very jumpy when handled. Mine don't bite, they hiss sometimes though. As for their saliva, I've read that they are actually rear-fanged but VERY mildly toxic.

: Awesome looking snake! I have only seen babies, and they are very drab compared to your adult there. I had no idea that's what they look like as adult. When you say nervous, are they mean? Also, I thought I had heard somewhere that their saliva was mildly toxic to lizards and small animals and could cause a local reaction to humans if bitten. Do you know if this is true or not? Thanks.
