I have seen these snakes in person and the pic does not do them justice. They look like the white sided black rat except they are a very pleasing caramel color on the dorsum. With so many different snakes having proved that "white sided" is a simple recessive mutation (granted many animals display a varying degree of "whitesidedness") I have to wonder why anyone would be so skeptical about the glades mutation? Anyway, in my opinion, these are more attractive than the blacks, not because Dwight's a friend but they just are. They look like candy or something, not that I plan to eat any.
