I am not having much luck with babies today. I found my amel motley corn baby dead this morning and now the new transpecos was dead. He had refused to eat last week, his first feeding at my house, but I figured that he had just eaten on Thursday at the breeders, and I feed on Mondays, so he probably wasn't hungry. So this week, I tried to feed him and he ignored the thawed pinkie. I thought that since the breeder was feeding live, that I would have to do some tricking to get him to eat frozen/thawed. So I teased him into grabbing it by hitting him on the side of his neck and he did grab it after about 6 strikes. He swallowed it fine and then a little bit later, I found it regurged in his tank. So I removed it. This morning when I checked on him, he was dead. Poor snakes. I feel bad for them. I don't know what was wrong, but these two never did feed well (although I don't know about the transpecos feeding history really). All the other corns and the other transpecos seem fine, so I don't think it is a problem with the food. Any other suggestions?
