:Sue, just wanted to say I am sorry for your losses. I cruise this forum, the cornsnake forum, and kingsnake forum everyday, I just don't post very often. I have read many of your posts (they are very informative, Thanks). It seems that you have a great grasp on the care of these snakes. I believe the problem was with the snakes themselves. Some animals will not thrive no matter how well they are taken care of and there is always going to be some mortalities for the same often unexplainable reasons.
so I don't know what was going on. The transpecos was from the last Havre de Grace show and the amel was from MARS. The amel didn't grow very much if at all. She was a classic case of failure to thrive.
