tiger rats

Probably an obvious question to you guys but: When you talk about Tiger Rat Snakes (spilotes) are these the same snake as Tropical Chicken Snakes. I'm currently keeping Taiwan Beauties but am interested in getting some Tropical Chicken Snakes and wondered if Tigers differed in any way. Help appreciated.
