: Probably an obvious question to you guys but: When you talk about Tiger Rat Snakes (spilotes) are these the same snake as Tropical Chicken Snakes. I'm currently keeping Taiwan Beauties but am interested in getting some Tropical Chicken Snakes and wondered if Tigers differed in any way. Help appreciated.

: There is a growing group of us Brits keeping these beasts. I currently have 3.3 Spilotes. Due to the live food laws here in the UK, you will have to feed with tongs. C/B animals are not a problem, extremely easy animals. W/C need carefull screening/treatment but are fine once established. I have always found arboreals far more interesting. I also keep Gonyosoma, Philodryas, Thrasops and Corallus. Should have some Philothamnus as well soon.
: Cheers Mark
