My Persian female recently laid a clutch of eight eggs. They were normal size, but six of them were infertile. The other two are incubating. I attribute the misfortunate bad eggs to the fact that the snakes weren't very old, less than three years. Although the female was big enough, she didn't want to let the male breed with her. Obviously, he was eventually partially successful. Hopefully, next year will produce a better clutch from more experienced animals. Now the waiting begins to find out if anything comes out of the two good eggs. Terry.
