: I kept them "dry" for a period of three mos. and separated the sexes. I then began a twice daily misting regimen(w/a computer fan installed to keep the air from becoming stagnant as recurring upper resp. problems were my biggest nemesis!) I would then introduce the males and also kept all sheds from the females and put them in the cage as well. I never saw them copulate but the cage would be torn apart the next morning so it must be an agressive affair. Bill
Thanks Bill.
I did not need to separate for the first breeding, I'm sure you're right, that this will do the trick. I use a misting system on a timer and can get eggs from my female within about 5 weeks! I know separation is always suggested, I have just never needed to do it in the past...Why do I always forget the basics??
Cheers
Mark
