I used prevent o mite one time on my red-eyed leucistic Rat and she almost died from it. 2 vet visits and 4 weeks later she recovered. The herp vet told me that the ingredient in most mite sprays can have a drastic effect on herps. I forget the actuall ingredient but I can look on my can I have and recognize it. I will post it later.
If you notice twitching after use get the snake to the vet ASAP, they do have treatment for it. It is actually a treatment they give to cows. If you wait you may end up with a dead snake.
