What are your guys temperaments like? I've got two pairs - a Wc pair of adults at about eight feet and a pair of CB subadults about 5-6 footers.

All four are very nervous. Quick to adopt defense postures and to strike. If this doesn't work they bolt and you have to be quick to catch them. However, the thing that drives me nuts is that once in hand they bite repeatedly. I keep lots of elaphe - ridleyi, blues, radiata etc and some of these are mean - but once in hand they tend to calm down.

However, my spilotes, despite frequent handling keep on biting. They will turn, almost stare at the hand holding them and then they just grab hold and chew!! If it doesn't work they let go, but soon come back for another taste. It's rare one of the four doesn't tag me repeatedly when I'm handling them. Has anyone else got similar gnarly spilotes?

I kinda love them for it but at the same time it'd be nice if they calmed down a little...
