Mine are rather calm; once they're outside their cage, they don't strike any more.
I've 5 Spilo: 2 C.B. 2001 (150 cm); 3 W.C. (200 cm)
The youngs are very fast moving, if they want to escape!
And, once more: Spilotes pullatus is a snake that attacks your hand, even if it's under its cover. It doesn't go inside, but attacks !!!
And have you noticed the strange ondulatory movements of the neck, during exploration or courtship ?
