You made me eat crow about the DNA testing issue, and I'm the type of person who will stand up and admit when I'm wrong. I say it is a dead issue because I can't imagine that there is anything left unsaid. I will never believe that K.E.s snakes are the read deal unless I am offered more in the way of proof than, "well, Bubba Joe Bob said he found it on the Dixie highway so it's got to make it true doesn't it?" I keep waiting for more substantial proof but none if forthcoming, and I suspect that it never will.

As you are aware, I have had an opportunity to meet and talk at great length with K.E. in person. I find him a very articulate and engaging gentleman who seems to be a wealth of knowledge in the area of field herping. I don't think he is a liar. I think that his zeal and enthusiasm for his aberrant snakes has clouded his judgment. If this logic is too abstract for your pea brain to follow, then mutant rat snakes is the least of your worries. :-)
