I went into my garage (its one storage unit for us) and I noticed a 3ft. snake, the color was tan-orange with red blotches. Immediately knowing nothing about snakes I shut the garage and called the police, we couldn't find it, the snake has many places to hide in there. I need to know how could I get this snake out of my garage other than keeping it open which I am doing now, but that does not mean the snake will leave. I am assuming it is a corn or rat snake, anybody can give me any information about the temperment of this snake? Is it poisonous? Again, I saw orange (no stripes and no black or dark color) with red blotches or diamonds, couldn't tell for sure, because when I saw it I left. :)
