Thank you for your help. I was on the web here and also thought if this snake is not a rat snake perhaps a corn snake. Well, good thing is that its not poisonous, but bad thing is that my washer and dryer is in the garage and I can't do laundry! I have an austrian hound here who has blood of a hunting dog, thought perhaps I put her in the garage she being a dog which have great hearing and scent, maybe she could let me know where the snake is, but then again, what if the snake bit her? Not that I would put my dog on the snake, just to let me know where it is so I can get it outside.
The snake is in my hot garage...I have the garage door open.
