John, after going through the Shultz Monograph, we believe that the snake was in fact a Collared trinket rat snake "elaphe helena monticollaris" Although it does resemble a Radiated rat snake, most radiatas have striping and not the pattern that that snake possessed. It also closely resembles some of the other sub species of trinket rats. Many people here in the USA are working with some of the species of trinket rats and they should be easy to locate if you are interested in them, we hope this helps.
