Here are my pair of taiwan beautys, it was nice outside and sub so I thought it would be a good chance to get some pics. I do have a breeding question though. I have heard two different opinions. Taiwans are breedable at 18 months, now I have heard that if bred at 18 months that it will stunt their growth. I have also heard that it won't hurt them any. Infact, one breeder had his female lay 13 eggs when bred at 18 months. If I do breed at 18 months will it stunt their growth? Has anyone bred a pair that early and have the snakes get their normal 8-9ft? If I feed larger meals after breeding such has rabbit babies will that help them to reach their length potential?
Here are the pics,
These guys are so fast, this was the only picture I could get of him. He is about 42 inches eating 2 adult mice every 5 weeks. He has a wierd color for a taiwan, his yellow areas on his back are actually surrounded by white. I bought him from Clay Davenport.

She one the other hand is almost a solid bright yellow. She is going to be an awesome adult when she grows up. She is about 52 inches long eating one weaned rat once every 5 days. She was purchased on the kingsnake.com forums.
Both snakes are about to be moved into a 4x2x2ft enclosure for about 2 months then on to their adult enclosure at 6x2x4ft.
Thank you, I appreciate any help.
Jeff
