Can you spell sarcasm???? I am aware that there are no asian thamnophis, and Mike you DID say they aren't ratsnakes....look about 6 posts above!!!!! I am just saying that until they ARE classified as something else other than elaphe, then I will call them ratsnakes. And no, i did not get what i wanted for Christmas....i still se no amel. elaphe situla under the tree. Derek
