Derek: hey, I can see the sarcasm now, too (I'm kind of new at this). I can agree with you too on the fact that I'll call them Elaphe until someone reclassifies them. To viewers, in general, though, I'm pretty serious about Asian Elaphe, and I'm trying to find certain species including (rufodorsata). I have a theory that they're related to the miniature Eurasian ratsnakes, but can anyone say anything for sure who hasn't worked with them. So, if anyone out there knows who's working with them, I'd appreciate any info I can get. Thanks. You can contact me at Ratsnake Haven, also.
: Can you spell sarcasm???? I am aware that there are no asian thamnophis, and Mike you DID say they aren't ratsnakes....look about 6 posts above!!!!! I am just saying that until they ARE classified as something else other than elaphe, then I will call them ratsnakes. And no, i did not get what i wanted for Christmas....i still se no amel. elaphe situla under the tree. Derek
