urodela? caudate? , and Torrent sals

hello,
i am confused about a few issues. are the orders Caudata and Urodela the same thing? if so, why are there 2 names? also, does anyone have any information on the family Rhyacotritonidae, or species? when did that family come about? i have already been to caudate central, and there isn't any info on them there. thank you so much...alexis
