One of my points that the REAL big kings were most certainly kept by the first collectors years ago and not bred. Add to this that they are 2x as likely to get hit by car tires than ones less than 5'(2 tires WIDE)and more likely males that will travel and cross roads....Also, that was a generalization about mouse size as they can be grown bigger by dedicated feeders. But, those snakes,wc or cb, fed on a snake diet should grow quicker especially in captivity. A decomposing snake in a kings stomach will not decompose and expand like a rat/mouse will. This can lead to it accepting meals MUCH more frequently. And I know Chcuk didnt limit his kings to a diet of just racers, lol. He would throw in whatever he came across that day....hogs, rats, corns,etc....These real big CB snakes are more the exception than the rule. We really should have an annual contest here to encourage SIZE in kings. There really is no comparison between a 5' snake and a 6' snake. Jeff
