If these big males are sterile, then there is no way for them to pass on their genes in order to produce new generations of large snakes that prefer to "eat other snakes". Therefore, there should be no large kingsnakes and none that eat other snakes (?!?), the exact opposite of the notion of a "kingsnake" .
