As a matter of fact I have been a Vet tech for the last 10 years. I also own an Indigo snake in the state of Florida. At my practice we have a dam good reptile vet who shares his experience with us as well as teaching us good medicine. If you had any brains you would have understood the point was to seek out a good vet and quit listening to what others say, defer to your vet.
Another point is the info you cited is over 13 years old. Listen and learn... when information is gathered it typically takes 1 to 2 years to be published and the fact that you are quoting form a source in 1991 makes me wonder if that is still being used. As you will learn when you get to vet school, regimes are constantly changing. Although Frye is a great vet, he does practice in the UK. Last I heard there aren't many Indigos there. My source was cited in 2001 by Dr. Darryl Heard at U of FL. He is the head of the reptile medicine forum on VIN (maybe you should try it someday)and has vast experience with our native wildlife including Indigos.
Unlike you I am here to help not criticize, what I offered is up to date info regarding the dose of Flagyll. Take it or leave it. I suggest you find some up to date sources, but you seem to be the one who knows it all so I am sure you won't strive to educate yourself any further. I'm sure someday you can be one of those vets who can treat anything (as long as it pays). You are the reason so many people do not have a good relationship with vets. Your so busy bad mouthing everyone you don't shut up long enough to listen!
