let me start by saying that Drymarchon are my favorite snakes. Nothing can compare. I have been checking out this forum for a while now and it seems that although there are not as many folks posting comments as in other forums, the people that do have a genuine love for the animals, relatively low egos, and a love for passing on the knowledge. Here's my query - What's up with yellow tails ? Why does it seem that Chuck Elliot was the only person who could successfully breed them? Why did Dominion Reptiles get rid of theirs (who they say they got from another breeder who was unsuccesful)? I have seen a wc pair try to acclimate to capitivity and I know it is a challenge, but is anybody on the verge of breeding these successfully? With Easterns and Melanarus being produced regularly, has anybody began to focus on yellow tails or Rubidous? Is it for a lack of animals, or are they just really hard to keep? I really like these animals and I just wanted to hear what efforts are being made to work with them.
