Help me please...I hope my Indigo is not sick...
He has been excreting something white and 'snotty' (sorry) every once in a while. It is a SOLID white blob, size-wise it looks like the toothpaste you put on your toothbrush. It seems sticky and is sometimes 'drawn out' at the end, stringy, and many times is on the snake himself. There is always ONE such blob, it is always white, and consistent in size. Sometimes it loosely coincides with his pooping; others it is just after he eats or some other random time.
His appetite is good, his appearance is good (although his tongue is no longer forked and hasn't been for some time) and he's his same old self. I have recently treated him for mites, that's the only apparent health issue. His temps are 75-82, I use carefresh and aspen mix and his water is changed daily. I dump the previous day's water in his substrate to add some humidity. He has a 2 story cage, fluorescent light in the top and a heat pad under the bottom floor of his cage, and about 12 square feet of space combined. He is about 5 1/2 feet long.
Any ideas??
